I suggest you do a google search on debugging. If you find anything which you don't understand, or needs explaining, then feel free to post back, but please don't expect anyone to spoon-feed you with complete solutions to your homework assignment

Debugging using which debugger?

I believe the OP is referring to debugging techniques and common ways to debug apps, as opposed to using a specific debugger. Debugger as a rule do not conform to standards, as they are often specific to the IDE with which they are bundled.

Lets see I think the point of this thread is:

What are some good questions to ask with respect to debugging techniques in C++?

It would help if we knew who we were asking -- if I were quizzing a beginner I might ask questions about commenting/printing and the principal of the excluded middle. If I were asking someone who works with embedded systems a question I might want to know how often a multimeter or oscilloscope functions as a debugging tool. If I were asking an expert I might ask questions about low level interrupt techniques.

If I were quizzing the general population I might ask general questions like, "how often do you use an actual debugger vs in-code debugging techniques?"
