I'm in Photoshop on very good occasion and I tend to save a few elements I create as presets in case I can use it in the future. This is a very effective and efficient way to work as I do not have to recreate a few common elements that I use. On the other hand, it also gives me a mass quantity of preset byproduct that I may never use again, due to the preset or element being a one-time unique use.

I feel sad that these unique, quality presets are all alone and dormant, so this is what I am going to do: release my presets in a timely manner to you, the interwebbles, to use free of charge in your projects. I am planning on posting one element that I have created (preset, custom shape, color scheme, etc.) each week. So stay tuned as you do not want to miss out on this great offer!

Also, if you do happen to use one, please feel free to show your work! I'd love to see them in action.

This week's: Wood

Excellent! Nice Tutorial, Capty!

Here's this weeks: 3d Mini

IPB Image

Basically, it's a macro that you can convert plain, boring two dimensional screenshots into wonderfully floating and three dimensional works of art. You can see them in action here. Enjoy!

(Edit: To use this, you must open the Action Pane in Photoshop, then go to the extended options and click "Load Actions".)
