basicly i need to make a program whitch is much like a caclulater.

in VB6 i no how to do things and understand it is this good for a caclutaor tpe program

in java i no nothing really... i am going to learn it in colage tho.

whith one is better to make a caclulate program.

the program will consit of 2 or more tab/forms

- one will add up a cost of a pc... a drop down menu for each product (avagre price)

- one will do ramupgrades are add in other costs

if this is possible in VB6 then i will use that but if part cant be done then i dont really want to criple the program becuase of the lag i used, if VB6 is the case any one point me in the dirretion of cacl tuts?

thanks for replys:D

Well I definitely would not suggest using VB6. I would suggest you step up to the .NET framework as it is an OO language.

Since you only asked about Java and VB6, then I would suggest that you do it in Java, even though you have very little knowledge in it. It will be a good learning experience and will help prepare you for your college classes.

VB6 is not taught in college, they use the .NET framework.
