Installing Perl

I'm on perl.com's installation page for Perl. I'm trying to choose whether I want the binary or source code for Windows. What is the difference? Wouldn't the binary provide libraries (essentially source code) I can edit and browse through anyway? Anything else I should know?

If you download the source code, you will need to compile it into binaries yourself.

If you download the binaries, you won't need to compile them - you can essentially just download them, install them, and start running Perl.
