Delphi and MSWord, Book generation with Delphi and RTF/MSWORD

Hi Anyone..

having massive issues trying to get this to work..

basically I have a database which has 2 blob fields . 1containing MSWord data and the other RTF data.
I need to create a book from the contents of either of the above. Each blob will be a sperate paragraph and I need to add a line above it which will be a header line and which will be set to an outline leve so it can then be used for the TOC. once the book has been nuilt, I then have to automatically generate a table of contents.

I have tried using WPTools to no avail, and also Officepartner... just cant seem to get there..

any help would be most appreciated.

I've never done anything with Delphi.

thanks for the try, but no. already seen that article and deals mainly with excel.. Word documentation just doesnt hack it and doesnt explain clearly enough. im using VB help to see whats in word, but even there just assumes too much.

Will keep digging..
