Thinking about another re-design, however I got so much on my plate right now I don't know if I should redesign, or continue finishing this site. (a few of the top links dont work).

Nykc Studios

There are new features I need to add, contact form isn't uploaded namely cause I was too busy to take on any more projects at the time.

Please critique so I can decide whether or not to scrap the design and go with a new look.

kthxbye

Nice, but the all white background is a little bright. I would try and tone it down a bit with a very light gray, to add some contrast, maybe something like #eae9e9. Just my $0.02 smile.gif

Thanks for the input. - Ill try that. I need to redo style sheet, I built in Dreamweaver and all the styles are Style9, Style16, WTF is that. That is why I don't use those programs. See what I get for messing with them.

Why is each nav button an individual SWF? Why not just have a single SWF with the entire navigation inside of it?

I initially did the site in Dreamweaver. And I think by default the way I incorporated the buttons I did them individually. If I keep the design, I am going to reformat those.

Ugh. If I don't have flash I can't use your site... I have FlashBlock on (which has made the Interwebs a happier place), so I couldn't click the buttons until I loaded each one individually.

It wouldn't be possible to have normal links underneat the flash links, then I could still see the navs.

But they do look nice when they're loaded smile.gif

Oh, and update the copyright notice to 2008!!

Thanks for the input. I experienced the same problem when I first loaded linux on my lappy. I needed to install a plugin to see those. I was not aware of this issue until that, I will definetley work out a fix for that.
lol - and yes thanks for the heads-up on copyright notice.

Looks like I will stick with the layout, but I am going to rewrite the CSS since I am not exaclty sure what Style 16 is for (dam dreamweaver) and will consider all of the suggestions.

Thanks for the input.
Ill update when complete smile.gif

Its a great program for working with graphics, but other than that I find coding from scratch to be more of an advantage. WSIWYG editors are always trying to force there overhead on the code. I remember when I built this site I had to constantly revert to the code and manually fix alot of the excess formatting dreamweaver included. This is also one of the reasons I was considering a redesign, although finding time to do that right now is the challenge.

Once I found .Net editor to be better for placing HTML controls.(Simple Drag and Drop). But that was when I was beginner and there was HTML/JavaScript in picture and no server side scripts.

Im normally coding with HTML Kit. _I loved that little editor. But since they don't support Linux I had to convert to sciTe. I really miss the preview in browser feature.

you can have VMWare kind of thing in Linux for using windows in linux. But of course that eats up resources.

Yeah, my lappy is fairly old... till I get my new Dell preloaded with Ubuntu in a few weeks.

I can rough it out, plus I have HTML-Kit installed at work and on my home desktop. I just want that Linux solution for my problem.

Thanks for the inputs. Soon I will own the interwebz ph34r.gif smile.gif
