can I ask one general question?

New D.I.C Head Joined: 8 Oct, 2007 Posts: 43 My Contributions	I don't know which forum I should post this question so I hope here is ok. When the employer asks the candidate whether he/she has any knowledge of test methodologies, what does the employer mean? do they mean if the candidate knows any tool that can be used to do the test or they just mean if the candidate knows the different type of tests in concept and theory?

Also, the ability to use Mock Objects for software testing, and the ability to write test cases and use testing software such as NUint. Just my $0.02

Joined: 10 May, 2007 Posts: 6,465 Thanked: 66 times Dream Kudos: 2425 Expert In: Goofing Off My Contributions	I would think that the question is looking to see if you have experience working with a proper test environment, & knowing the difference between testing in a testing environment, & working bugs out in a production environment. It's like ghost-busters, you never cross the streams. - my 2¢
