[solved] Actions triggered in JTextFields

New D.I.C Head Joined: 14 Feb, 2008 Posts: 7 My Contributions	I am working on a dictionary search method, with possability to put in new words as well. In that project I nead an action to be triggered (1) when a letter is written into a TextField, and (2) when an TextField is becoming active. You can also check out keybinding which is another option. Java tutorial on Keylisteners As for programming to have it listen for the focus, you can write a focus listener... Java Tutorials: How to Write a Focus Listener Hopefully these two tutorials will help you out. Let us know when you get stuck. Provide your code and any error messages you receive.
