Anybody tell me how to get my voice recorded so it sounds good on the computer? Don't want to spend a lot of money, and want it to be fairly simple... Is that even possible?

I'm sorry, I should have specified. I have a microphone, but when I record on my laptop using the sound recorder program, it is very low quality. Any remedies?

5-7 inches away from mic (your mouth)
no "white noise" ex. No Dishwash, TV, Radio anything just u watching and speaking.

IF all else fails u have a sucky mic no offense. Audacity is a good program not sure how much it is.

First off if you don't have a mic jack, Highly unlikely, then use your 'line in' jack, same thing. As for software Audacity is the best i've ever used. Google it. completely FREE!

Audacity is amazing for being free, I would suggest downloading that and obtaining some kind of a higher quality mic

I have been using FlexiMusic Audio Editor, it is pretty cheap, easy to get to grips with it. Surely you can make a try to it.
