i want faster net so i can play online game and i used sat net but didnt work all the time and i cant get dsl i hate comcast soo and suggestions
please help i have to use dialup now and its so slow

Well if Commiecast.... Er.. Comcast is your only high speed option, then I guess you're kinda out of luck... You might see if you can get ISDN, which would double your dial-up speed, but it's still not fast enough to qualify as broadband.

I have wowway. its not too bad. but if you are limited to one cable provider, DSL i might be your best bet. although personally I think cable is better after using DSL for 5 years.

well if your only option was sat sounds like the only other option available is like a sprint or alltel moble data card.

That is what I rock at 1x rtt and it is like 256 down on good days but there is no data cap unlike sattelite

He said he can't get DSL, or I would have recommended AT&T DSL. I have it, and I love it. Even if it is 4Mbps slower than my dad's RoadRunner cable, I still like it better.

Go with comcast since its really your own option. I run DSL at my one house and satelite at my other home. I take DSL any day of the week over Sat since it is much better for many reasons. Satelite should be a last resort like in my situation, were comcast and verizon are not out their yet and I wont get dial up.
