Some links you may find useful for graphic design include...

Graphic Design Definition by wikipedia

Classic Graphic Design Theory

Graphic Design resources from about.com

I also recommend that you visit school websites that offer graphic design courses and I am sure you can get a better understanding of what is offered and what it takes to be a graphic designer.

Enjoy! smile.gif

There are alot of portfolio's of peoples graphics on the net, on this forum there are quite alot in their signatures. Also it depends what sort of graphic design your looking to go into, like web design graphics, logo design, or posters and billboards and what not.

I'm getting into graphic desing also, and something I did and still do is add the program stumble upon to your computer. What it does is gives you a range of topics to choose from for things that your interested in (one of them being graphic design) and then in a toolbar it gives your the "Stumble" button. If the only topic you've chosen is graphic design every time you press the "stumble" button you'll be taken to a different site that has to do with graphic design and youl'll be able to see/learn some really cool stuff.
