Hover Over Images

im looking to have a square image (say 25x25), and when its hovered over produces plain text to the right (or left of the image) any ideas.

oh well i've done that before. i couldn't tell you the code right off hand but i know i found by looking for the mighty mouseover in webmonkey or google.

your onmouseover event will have to change the displayed layer as opposed to flipping an image. You can do this with the visibility/hidden property of a layer or with z-indexing.

one other thing is that you need to "name" your elements so that they can be called by the onmouseover event.

You wouldn't really need to use layers, you could use CSS to hide the text then on roll over make it show up, roll out, hide it again Look here for example I used it for toggling
