Adobe Photo Deluxe Home Edition 3.0, Scanned in files with .PDD extension.

Photos were scanned in using PhotoDeluxe 3.0 on an laptop running Win/98. The files were later transferred to another PC running Win XP. PhotoDeluxe 3.0 was not transferred. An error message (not supported file) appears when trying to open files. Can the .PDD files be converted to another format or is my only solution PhotoDeluxe 3.0 and reloading it onto the XP computer.

Can PhotoDeluxe convert them to a different file type for you? If it can, you'll need to convert them on the original machine before moving them over. If it can't, you'll need to install PhotoDeluxe onto the second machine as well.
