Hi All,
I need to Open an Excel Sheet in a Web Browser (using ASP Net) from a server, and edit this document and save it back to the server. Instead of using a {Response.Content}; Is it possible to do something like that.
The concept seems same as that of a docs.google spreadsheet, all I wanna know is to implementing this in ASP Webform

Here client system may / may not have excel installed in it. So the file should be edited within the browser itself.

Please lemme knw, if u have a sample code or anything like that other than response. stuff, coz I need 2 frames in the webform and one frame will hold the button to save and some other controls and the other frame will hold the excel worksheet which is to be edited by the suer.

Hope to get a result asap.
Thanks in advance
Neal Gabriel

I can tell you that what you are looking for is possible, but at the same time it isn't possible. The easiest way to accomplish this would be to read your Excel file into a ListBox, then proceed from there.

C-SharpCorner has a C# tutorial on doing this, give it a look.

nealgabriel45, We're not going to give you the answers since you haven't posted any code you've tried, you obviously didn't read the link I supplied. You're going to get that reply when you ask for a solution but don't show that you've made an effort smile.gif
