I really want to learn how to program PHP, i was just wondering if anyone of you can give me some feedback as to starting to learn PHP

right now i brought two books

i'm reading learning php and mysql first

it would be great if u can recommend other books and provide me some feedback

what php version are they?

right now a huge portion of the internet still uses php 4 , but php 5 has been out for a while and there is recently a heavy push to move over to 5.

i suggest you learn 5, and make sure to find a server with it installed to test on.

my great book was the php4 bible, if you can find the php 5 bible i think you will like it.

Those book's are good you also can get PHP and MySQL bible, to mention this are a lot of tutorials on the internet all you have to do is google for it. Good Luck learning PHP! Also don't forget to checkout the PHP Tutorials forum, I think you will find some useful information there.
