hii everybody....
I made A program that plays a sound from a file but i want o make it pause and stop when i click a button..
please help me .. iam also a new C# programmer.

How new are you? xD

Because I'm fairly new aswell and haven't even begun to know how to play a sound.

Know this though, the event has to be programmed into the Play/Pause button. xD All I know about the subject. PS. What have you made so far? Could I look at your code?

First you will need to understand Managed and Unmanaged Code. You will need to know about both Microsoft Windows Media and and Microsoft DirectX if you want to use Media Player as your Playback tool. Now if you want to use something else you will need to research that.

Guys!
I always advocate the KISS principle.
Just google for "visual c# play sound" & u will get a lot of stuff to study.
If not, go to MSDN and search for the same string.
