Hi.

I am facing problem in setup of a windows application project.

I have a windows application which uses a dll which is registred by another application .

ie, a dll from another application.

when I create a setup project as setup wizard for this application , I put that dll in GAC

when I tried to build the application ,It showing error like, that dll should have a strong name(shared name) to be installed globally .

Can anybody help me ,whether I am going in the right direction in creating a setup project.

You are on the right path, and here is an article which will help you the rest of the way:

Give DLL a strong name and install DLL from GAC

Hope that helps smile.gif
