guys i am having adobe photoshop version 7..
is it enough to learn photoshop..i am beginner to this ..
Are is their any new version ..if their is can i get the link for it..

Yes there are newer versions of Photoshop (CS2, CS3), just go check out the Adobe website. Photoshop isn't a free program though, so there are no links to provide, just the Adobe Website

ps 7 is fine to learn on.
6 is still used by some people.

cs 2 is imo a decent jump, but 7 isn't terrible.

the main techniques are the same cs2 just makes it easier

I've been on PS7 for years, just made the move to CS3 a few weeks ago and the differences for what I use PS for are minimal.

I agree; I have found transition from version to version is pretty easy. Photoshop 7 will be sufficient.

I started out on 7, too. I now have CS3 and love it. But 7 is still great if you are just starting out. There are tons of tutorials out there...

www.goodtutorials.com, try that out they have ton's of graphics tutorials, this is where I started out with photoshop, thought many of the tutorials are compatible with CS Version 8, however the same thing can be done in PS 7, with some little twists and turns.
