A friend of mine as a Sony Vaio laptop. Thing cost about 3 grand. its a nice paper weight. For some reason no software will see his cross bar, his capture device appears, but you can't choose what input to use. I have developed a graph in graphedit that works, so I know the hardware works. but all the code I can find on using crossbars is all the same. and none of it works. the IAMCrossbar method. I don't know how graphedit can find and use the filters but none of the many tuner control or capture programs can.
I am new to programming. I have written several programs in visual basic, but basic can't handle this. Im now using visual studio 2008 pro configured for C++
I have tons and tons of samples of code that don't work. is there another method for crossbar handling???
