I have been working on Graphics and Web Design and Development, Here is the latest site I have built. Please let me know what you think of it, and what I could do to improve it, and future sites that I may build!

Thanks a lot!

The top logo took forever to load. You might want to consider bumping down the colors used in it. Not to mention the lack of any transition between the logo and the color background. I am on a rather high resolution so it is really noticeable.

Also you can see problems in the rollover graphics. The line that runs through them separating the reflections becomes distorted when the rollover graphic is being used. It is moved down a little and you can see the sides of the graphic.

The colors are nice though and the soft blue is easy to on the eyes and easy to read the text. You now just need more content on there.

Thanks for the reply Martyr!

What do you think I should do about the top logo? Should I try converting it to a different format?
(The server running this site are really old, but I'm getting new ones soon, so that should help a little!)

I'll see what I can do about the transition and the problem with the menu bar!

Thanks!

Well since your logo doesn't use too many colors naturally you could try a gif file snapped to 256 color but adaptive so that it is roughly 256 colors of white and blue. Most programs will do this when you save the program including Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro.

You could also take a look at making it an interlaced gif so at least it will load most of the page while the graphic at the top is still loading. Might be a neater effected too.

I like it, definitely do something with the graphics, also on my screen there's a large chunk of whitespace on the right hand size, probably should do something about that.

Ok, I changed it to a 256 color gif, and I made it transition more.

But I think it might be a little to much transition, it seems to kinda run together, what do you think?
EDIT: I changed the roll-over graphics for the menu bar too.

Thank you! smile.gif

The whitespace seems to be coming up with FireFox, I can't seem to find out a way to fix it, the background for the menu-bar works fine, but for the header, it just won't load! blink.gif

I'd also suggest centering the thing. That's something I really dislike about websites, when they clump all their stuff to the left.

You really need to do something with the white space on the header (like you don't already know, lol). No idea what though. confused.gif

Which part of the website do you think should be centered, the header?
