Hey.
I'm new here, so forgive me if i've posted on the wrong board, i wasn't exactly sure where to put this.

I'm interested in making a game, browser based game to be specific.
I was wondering if anyone would be interested in making the game with me?

Alright i've looked around. (Game Programming & Web development Forums)
The few posts i've found are mostly people creating their own game, asking for help.
None of which stated that they would like to work with someone.

Again, forgive me if i'm wrong. I'm new to this whole thing and it's pretty complicated.

You will need to be proficient in PHP and MySQL, JavaScript and HTML with CSS will help for front end purposes.

How deep does your programming experience go, game programming is not an easy task. If any of the languages above sound unfamiliar to you I highly recommend studying them first.

If you would like to start up a project, first look around for your idea topic, maybe not posted here but sourceforge tends to have lots of projects going on.

I have the idea for the game, i know what i want it to be.
It's browser based so i know i'm going to need to know PHP and MYSQL, and i'm working on learning that.

Basically this is just all for fun, if it works out, good. If it doesn't, oh well, at least i learnt some out of it kinda thing.

Right now i'm working on the skeleton of the whole game itself, making the structure of it, linking the pages, that kind of stuff.

Am i going along the correct track?

You're getting there. Here's a few questions though.

Where are you hosting it? You could get it started on SourceForge.
What exactly is it? A game, but about what?
What all do you need help with?
