Alright, so I made my own template in Photoshop and am familiar with coding and slicing at least at a beginner level. However, I have made it for my new myspace profile; and my god Tom is an idiot. I've never seen such a messy strip of coding in my life.

So therefore, I ask you guys, what way should I slice my template, what way I should code it, and how to put it up on my myspace page.

I've been reading into some other online sites, and myspace has made the internet ugly again.

Thanks

Why not try and just do a background which looks like its two layers e.g

say a black background with abstract patter what ever and another layer with drop shadow for the interface area.....

While we can help you with getting your template created & making it look nice, you will find little help on how to upload it (or work with it once it's on) myspace.

Can you post the code for your template, or a url where it an be viewed?

I'd rather prefer not to post my image, I'd prefer to speak to a single person, say, on AIM or something.

However, I read a little and found that you can overlay the myspace with div, and then link to an off-site html code. I'm not exactly sure how to do that, and the few tutorials out there are kind of jibberish, but any advice is helpful.

Do I necessarily HAVE to post my image, or no?

If you want help directly on the boards yeah you'd have to post it up here, otherwise PM or AIM someone.

You're definitely not going to get any help for uploading it to MySpace here as we don't offer MySpace help smile.gif

If you want help from the group, then you must make your code accessible.

If you have questions, & want them answered, it's usually best to be cooperative. On the other hand, if you don't want people looking at your information, then you will have to ask precise questions. Since these are images, & they will end up on myspace, then what difference does it make?

I think you should check out.. overlay generators.. if you would like to stick with your template..

it basically convert your html to ajax form.. and pasting your generated code to a media box or something.. just read through it..

i've done this once.. but in my friendster... and i read that this work in myspace... as far as i know..

just search for overlay generator.. i think the site is markkytrigger.com... i just look for it...
