What tool is better for mysql?

hi all,

I want to use an administrator for mysql, and I want to know what programs is better
navicat, ems or sqlyog

I want something like sql studio. Something to do table relationship and professional

That really depends on what you're looking for.
If you just want to learn you'll probably not want to pay anything therefore sqlyog is what you'll want (I think it is free).

I've heard that navicat is really great (skyhawk swears by it) but you're going to have to pay for it after the 30 day trial. Click this link to the thread:

PHPMyadmin ?
is nice for starters,
I have used it, never had a problem with it.
Maybe a bit slow in remote-administration, but does the job well.


Or, You could create Your own.
Depends on the task.
If its not a too big task with a few simple PHP scripts You can create a "tool" that suits Your needs.

NaviCat offers a free public Lite version that is just about the same. It's really easy to use and understand, I like it tongue.gif

phpMyAdmin tongue.gif not an expert but I've heard it's less of a dogg on your server.
