3d programming in c++, Need help

hi,
iam new to c++ and i want to make a 3d simulation game, how will i go about this and where shall i start?
I also need to know how do you make a 3d world / map?
And............
I have made 3d models on a 3d making programming, how do i put this into my game ?

Well... how to start... well this is a big question. There are a number of places to start. You can download a 3D game framework and start there. Or you can download a 3D Graphics API (DirectX or OpenGL) and start working there.

IF you already have a modeler then you should look for a game engine that is easily compatible with your modeler. I like OpenGL as it is not very much work to get your model displayed (I have not really done much more than that -- no time to play). You can follow lots of tutorials out there on OpenGL.

I recommend looking into the game engines though. Have not gotten around to it myself, but that is the route I plan on going next. I understand there is a good engine that was just made Open source.
