I need help with a navigation bar - i need a silver navigation bar with some links on, which stays at the top of the window even when you scroll down the page.

I need it like the top bar on this site (for example):-
http://uk.ask.com/web?q=hello&dm=all&a...dir&siteid=

I have been told i cannot use frames - apparantly we just need a navigation bar which is at the top but stays at the top of the window as you scroll down . . .

Can anyone help??

Many thanks in advance.

Try taking a look at the CSS position attribute - more specifically, position:fixed.

I am not sure how to edit my CSS file, specifically which part of the CSS file needs editing... Is there no HTML code i can add in the source code for the page?

You are going to want to apply a CSS class(or id) to the element you want to be your navigational bar first. Then you'll need to set position:fixed on that particular element.
