hey people, im new here, im currently learning direcx 9 now, here my problem.

please help me how to create a typing text effect like in Role playing game character dialogue using directx., i've tried this on console base and it works, but when i tried on windows base i won't move at all. thank you

You could use a sprite with various frames when the text changes, but that might get too big too quick

It depends what type of text effect you are trying to create; for example, if you want something to move left and right you could just change it's x position based on how old it is, or something similar.

Care to elaborate on what you are trying to acheive?
