Help needed to run Visual Studio

New D.I.C Head Joined: 17 Apr, 2008 Posts: 17	Hello all , after i had just installed the microsoft visual studio 2005 , i keep on getting the error "windows cannot access the specified device , path or file . You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item " . Can anyone help mi with it ? i need it to do my project .. im currently using Windows vista home prenium any help will be appreciated

D.I.C Regular Joined: 15 Feb, 2005 Posts: 404 Thanked: 6 times Dream Kudos: 175 My Contributions	it should have installed it default to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio .NET\Common7\IDE check your paths and make sure D:\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\Common7\IDE\ exist if not I would recommend uninstalling it and reinstalling the application
