What white page are you talking about?

If you mean the one that appears after you've submitted the form when the page is loading, then there's no way around it other than Ajax - it's just a natural byproduct of the page refreshing. If you mean something else, I have no idea.

sorry girasquid my explanation wasnt the best but yes that is what i was talking about when the page is loading, so if i was to use ajax i could implement something there? for instance is it possible for me to run a flash file? while the state of the request isnt complete. ive been using AJAX lately and i have a function that pulls the information from my php page when the readystate==4 ive also implemented a throbber that runs while the state isnt equal to that, would it be possible to create this type of thing with a flash file playing while the request is waiting to come back? or maybe not a flash file but a animated gif or something??

thanks

Dan

Yes. Yes it would.

If you were to add it in, it wouldn't be any more difficult than it was the first time you did it - you'd be doing the exact same thing. Whatever approach you used before will work again just fine.
