okay, it is this my sister want me to build her an PC and here is the spec that i have for it so far. But the problem is that i don't think it all goin to work. But still beforei buy can u guys advise me if am goin good so far or need to change somethings. And the sky is the limit for this PC.




- Motherboard ASUS M3A#@ MVP ELUXE wifi AP
- Western digital carrier GA
- Processor AM Phenom x4 9850 Quad core processor
- RAM OC2 SLI – Ready Dual Channel 40096 MB Pc 6400 DDR2 800 MHz memory
- VIDEO CARD (EVGA Gefroce 9600 GT )
- GHAPICS CARD (NVIDIA GEForce 8800 GT)
- Sound card is Creative X-fi XtremeGamer
- POWER SUPPLY (Ultra x Pro ULT40029, 750-watt)

The monitor, pc case and speaker, keyboard and mouse are not bought as yet. But would love to know any ideas you guys have. So this is wat i have tell me if i went work or where i could use something else..

get 64bit windows otherwise it will show 3 GB instead of 4GB, otherwise I think the specs are good.

Few comments...

1) You do know you could go to a DDR2 1066 Mhz Ram right?
2) Why are you getting two different graphics cards? If you want the best bang here, always go with identical graphics cards that you can then SLI together. (So identical 9600 GT).

3) Make sure you have very good cooling in this system. The phenom can't get a bit hot even with a stock fan, plus dual high end cards will be generating some good heat.

Then as pointed out about the Windows 64 and you are good to go. Do keep in mind that the software industry is still trying to catch up on the multi-core applications, so you won't be fully tapping a quad cores power just yet. Of course that is quickly changing, so you are ahead of the curve on that.
