What kind of mice do you usually buy?

What kind of activities do you perform with your mouse?

Or you could buy a good mouse, not some cheap $20 thing. Go for a Razer mouse and you will be satisfied.

I've always bought cheap mice. They last years. They key is buying a cheap mouse from the right place. smile.gif

The only people I know who have to buy new mice every few months are the people that do things like throwing the mouse against the wall when they lose at a game.

Edit: Or the people who spill drinks on their mice.

I'm surprised you have so much trouble. What kind of mice do you buy?

I've been using the same Logitech wireless mouse/keyboard combo for the past 5 years. I'm amazed mine still works but losing 4 mice in 3 months is pretty ridiculous.

Just quit using GUI programs & switch everything to terminal.

Eliminate the need for a mouse, & you eliminate the problem.

Negative! MX-1000 > MX Revolution. smile.gif Although if the G7 gets updated to add a damn forward button, I might buy one of those. Although this MX-1000 is still going strong 5 years on.

And for my laptop, I'm using a 5 or 6 year old Logitech MX-310. It's reasonably comfortable, wired (wireless mice sucked back then), and so cheap that I don't care if it gets lost/broken/stolen.

I would say just pick up a cheap Logitech mouse. I've never had any trouble with any Logitech kit.
