Howdi,

I have four movieclips with four seperate button controls for each. (each movie clip depicts a rotation of a 3d image i made)

When one of the buttons is clicked I want the other 3 movie clips to become invisible.

I understand that I need to to this by using an if statement and dropping the alpha of my movieclips but am unsure as to what way to go about it...

ie) should i drop the alpha of all of my movieclips from the beginning and then use the button to bring it up to 100 %...

Thanks in advance !! wink2.gif

I think that you have the wrong forum - you wanted Flash & ActionScript, not JavaScript.

Regarding your question, why not just set the MovieClip._visibile property to either true or false?

here is some sample code to show you how to do that.
