Hello, I always use Fireworks cs3 to do banners etc for my site. I was wondering if photoshop is better or worse than Fireworks for that kind of thing, I would like opinions so I know whether or not to bother downloading photoshop. If you could post the ups and downs you have found of both programs that would be great too.

I use photoshop almost exclusively as far as web design goes. It's really whatever floats your boat, though. You can get a free trial of Photoshop off Adobe's site to play around with for a month to see if you like it or not.
