Arrays(urgent help), manipulating arrays

hello people. I need help on 2 arrays I gotta solve them till saturday!
I've been trying but it's quite problem for me. The point it to make an algorithm for these methods:
a. public int[] sortAscending(int[] v)
{}
b. public int findMostOften(int[] v)
{}
