Program automatic answers to "file already exists" when savi

I am looking for a way to automatically answer whether or not to overwrite an existing file upon saving, and whether or not to save changes to a file when closing the file. I don't want users to answer the questions incorrectly. This has to do with MS Excel macros I have recorded/written.
