Buzzer, Buzzer programming and the features

hi

I would like to know if anyone can help me. I have to make a buzzer sound using the mplab program. I heard from sources that the buzzer would be able to make different tone generations.Anyone wise advice?

I'm not familar with the mplab program.

By controlling the time the 'port' is on and off you then are controlling the frequency.

What access to you have to the buzzer?
