I'm looking for MMORPG information. My goal is to eventually make a MMORPG, and I need some information to start with, and thats where you guys come in. I'm going to be using C#. Thanks. I need stuff such as Server Information, graphics, ect. Game stuff.

What I know Already:
1. I need to have a good solid knowledge in a language of my choice. (C#)
2. I'm going to need a team of people to do the project.
3. It's going to take hard long work, maybe even years depending on the type of MMORPG I'll be making.

Information in what sense? You can search for basic information, even basic data handling methods, etc... Short of asking someone to create some art or code, i don't understand the point of asking about servers. You're right though, learn a language first.

oops, not servers lol. A place to host it. Thats what I meant. I need a cheap and good place to host a good sized game.

Also, is C# a "good" MMORPG language?

Sure? It has potential (otherwise MS wouldn't have bothered with XNA). Any language has potential to make an MMO.

As KYA said, learn C# first. Forget about the MMO. Wipe it from your mind. Learn C# inside and out, then make a 2D game. Add multiplayer support. Move to 3D. Do the same. Don't waste money on a dormant server until you have programmed an actual game. Go ahead and buy a domain name and park it but if you buy the server now, it'll just be a waste (unless of course you log the development on it).

Speaking XNA, you may want to look into it. It's actually a pretty nice framework.

Do you have an idea of your subject for the MMO? Fantasy, space, etc?
