Hey everyone,

I just want to gauge everybody's interest in reading a php regular expressions tutorial. I'm thinking about writing one but there's a lot of information to cover. I might break it into a couple different tutorials, but before I write them, I want to find out if it's something everbody's interested. So sound off! Is this something you'd like to see?

I can't STAND regex, mainly because I don't understand it that well, so a tutorial would be awesome!

Yeah it's a really really powerful tool, but a lot of people have a hard time. I figure writing a tutorial would help increase my knowledge of the subject, and I'm never afeared of learnin. Ha ha.

If you're looking for a book to help you catch up before you start writing your tutorial, take a look at "Mastering Regular Expressions" from O'Reilly - it's a good book with lots of examples.

Awesome, I'll probably check that out. I know there are entire books written on the subject, which really shows their power. I'll probably talk about their uses in compilers as well. Thanks for the idea.
