In Matlab (disregarding the type of file) is there a way I can do the following:
1: Read in a line of data from a file
2: Plot this on a graph
3: Clear Variables that data was read into
4: read in the next line of data from a file
5: Repeat steps 2-4 until end of file is reached.

I've used matlab before to read/write .wav, .txt, and .m files. You can easily put some loops in to read files and plot. Can you give us some details about the file contents?
