What languages are anti-virus/malware usually programmed in? I'm hoping C++.

I am wanting to program my own but I have no idea of where to start or even what programs to use.

NOD32 is the only antivirus I know of is coded in assembly language, and thats the reason that it doesn't eat that much system resources.

Most of them, from what I know, just scan the system for files that match certain profiles. One could implement that kind of system in any language. smile.gif
