I have been waiting for this game forever!!!! In fact I recently decided that they must have something in the works and have started up Diablo II again!!! I just can't wait.
Since Blizzard.com even has diablo 3 stuff up it has to be true!!! YAAYAYAAYAYAYAYAYAYAY
I sure hope it is more like Diablo 1 than 2. 2 got a bit cheesy feeling and I liked the "spookiness" of Diablo 1. It felt a little more put together too and the graphics were a little better than 2.
Looks pretty tight though. I hope they release it on consoles too. Should be pretty awesome.
Well of course it's true... What do you think the changing splash screens on Blizzards sites have been all week? All WWI '08 has been today is WotLK though... I'm guess the D3 stuff is going to be tomorrow or Monday.

As long as they don't cut out features or "simplify" things for the console gamer, I would have no problem with that.
Deus Ex Invisible War (just an example) was a pretty good game, but they targeted development at consoles (PC version got treated as a second class citizen). Consequently the PC version was plagued with the limitations of the console version (namely, smaller maps).

That would be an interesting twist I think, if Satanist modders created a mod where the player kills God (every game). I'm sure the Roman Catholic church would love that!
Yeah, I just heard about D3 yesterday, since I've been playing D2 for a while now. I hope D3 is a combo between D and D2(within reason), since I liked how in D2, monsters would respawn so you could actually LEVEL if you got stuck on a boss . That drove me NUTS in the original!
The WitchDoctor seems pretty nice too...wonder what other new classes there are?
And besides Tom...you can't kill God...he's God...he's a ninja!

I think it's gonna be awesome like D1 and D2.I wonder though if anyone creates a female barbarian At least I can't imagine a female character using brutal force upon the enemies.On the other hand both male and female Witch Doctors look fine.
