ok heres the problem, I need MS Access 2003 to add up one number box from each record in the table and put it into another number box is there any quick(ish) way to do this or is it just a case of puttin it all on the same form and going
CODE
cdbl(text1.text) + cdbl(text5.text) + cdbl(text9.text).... etc
btw I am using VB 6.0 on Access.

Also one of the things that I'm trying to do is doing a maths operation. Basically
CODE
Private Sub text2_GotFocus()
text2.Text = CInt(text3.Text) / 10
End Sub
however when i try and debug this, MS access tells me that in order to work with something it needs to be in focus :S any help NEEDED!!!

Many Thanks

How are you trying to go about this? Is this on a form, report, DAP, etc? If it's a form, is it single, continuous, datasheet, etc? There are a lot of details that would help us help you.
For example, IMHO, continuous forms are a bitch to program, but there are ways around that too.
