I am working on a web application and ran into a problem.

Using the tutorial posted here I created an ActiveX Control and got it to display successfully using IIS.

My problem is that after adding a Microsoft Web Browser control (axWebBrowser) I am not able to get the control to display properly. I have successfully registered other .dll controls and displayed the control using IIS, but after adding the Microsft Web Browser control the same component no longer works.

Is it even possible to use the Microsoft Web Browser in this way - embedded inside existing Internet Explorer window?

I don't think anyone here is ignoring you, but you may want to post this Question in the Web Development thread

I'm starting to think the problem might be that the WebBrowser control cannot be used by partially trusted code.

Any thoughts?

I wish I could help you, but I am a software developer not a Web. I am sure there is a way. You may just have to sit down and really design how you what it to work
