msn dial up help!, i moved...

My Contributions
well at my old house i had a connection speed of 45kbps icon_up.gif
now that i moved i get a back breaking 28 kbps icon_down.gif
i need it to be faster so i can play online games
how do i speed it up ???
please help me i cant even update my java compilers
please im begging you help a poor programmer!!!!!!

If you've been forced to downgrade to 28 kbps, there isn't really anything you can do to speed that up aside from upgrading to something else.

It really depends on the area you moved to, in house wiring etc.

With Dial-Up your pretty much stuck with whichever speed you get.

I would look into a cable or DSL connection, I know MSN dial-up goes for like $22 a month, you could get a much faster broadband connection for that in most areas. Verizon practically gives away their DSL down south, I would definitely look into it.

smile.gif thxs for telling me that about the house wiring (i'm remodeling a old farmhouse thats built in 1840 lol biggrin.gif )
but i think i figured the problem dial up access numbers rolleyes.gif duh
