Hello all,

I have a pretty good knowledge of HTML, certainly not all the ins and outs, but i know enough to get my around, and do what I need. I have been doing some casual experimenting with creating a simple game in HTML. I have gotten as far as creating a working menu, with working buttons etc, but thats the easy part. tongue.gif When I get down to actually creating the game, im not really sure what the capabilities are. For right now, im only dealing with a single player game. not multi player so that helps allot. I was wondering if any of you guys had any suggestions on how to continue. I have heard that HTML is is'nt the best language to use for game development, but im sure there are some capabilities out there that could somehow be used to create some sort of a game. BTW, not sure if it helps any, but i use dream weaver.

any suggestions

HTML is simply a Markup language, not a programming language, therefore it has zero capabilities for doing what you're looking for. You're going to need a server-side language for your game, something like PHP, ASP, ASP.NET, JSP, etc.

ok cool!, thanks for the suggestions. Which language from the ones listed above, would you suggest that I would be able to pick up and learn quickly?
