As many of you probably know, Iran has been conducting missile tests of late. The most powerful of which have a range of 2,000km.

Thoughts? Are you concerned? Is war the answer? Do we support Israel if they go to war? What about their nuclear program?

Is war the answer? If it isn't, what is? Peace talks?? Ok, McCain and Obama look like they would be good peace talk people, send 'em over.

This whole thing with the war and terrorists and Iran is getting pretty bad, and America's situation with oil prices and not being able to drill for our own oil, because of politicians listening to moronic environmentalists, and, "ethanol", burning our food (Thus making the price of food escalate even more), is not helping us either.

Yep, what else is new? The world is filled with idiots... yes war is the only answer... the economical sanitations are just a bunch of bull. They don't work, and they will not work. Why you ask, because the Russians and Chinese are against them. They are willing to risk your lives as long as they can make a buck. And I don't just mean US citizens or western once, but everyone on the face of this earth.

Now should you support? wtf? That is the least you can do! unbelievable.. somebody is willing to fight your war and that is what is on your mind? Whether or not support them? How about assist them? Fight with them?

Answer me this, how many nukes did the United States stop from being developed? Pakistan? opps.. CIA slip.. the Dutch wanted to take the guy down but CIA wanted to tail him, so they gave him some rope. Great job, the first Islamic bomb was born. Thank god India got them by the balls.

North Korea, umm really? they stopped it? so how come information is being sold to the highest bidder still? Libya, Syria and other Muslim countries are on the buyers list.

2008 comes along, will it stop Iran?

Israel on the other hand stopped 2 nuclear programs with perfectly executed raids on both Iraq in 1981 and Syria in 2007. Will they save the world again? A world who hates them. This is the definition of irony. But I do want to mention that USA was behind the scenes helping the Israelis. I guess this is also true about the United States, helping a world that hates it. And whose nuclear program were you referring to? Israel’s or Iran’s?
The Israeli program was developed with the assistance and full cooperation of the United States. Although some spy activity did help them.
Anyway, back to the war topic. If you want to win this war, one thing is for certain, there has to be taken some very aggressive steps, this is a war for survival, no more of that humanitarian bull.

I've predicted that doomsday is going to happen within my lifetime. Every power hungry idiot likes nuclear warheads, and it will only be a matter of time before someone tries one out.

It's good. the world as it is now is monopolized by the US, and it's not a good thing. I don't think there's any country in Asia that loves America, but there's nothing the Asian can do. America controls the world economy, and I don't think Asian country loves that. see Iraq? America have too strong an army, they can destroy a country in a fortnight. for Asian country, Iran is the new hope to balance out the power. if Iran do have a nuclear weapon for god sake, America wouldn't dare do anything to Asian country. because America would be afraid if Iran would attack them. vice versa, Iran too wouldn't do anything stupid to America, because America's military is very strong. the world need a new world power, a new USSR, and Iran might be the answer.

as long as all have equal power, no one will do anything stupid to each other. we'll be safe and the world will be at peace. at least that's what I think.

The U.S don't harm until they see a possibility for grievous harm. Sif' America isn't going to attack Iran if they build nukes; America has the most nukes in the world. I trust that even if a nuke was fired at America, the resulting country would exist no longer.

Fueling the war isn't going to be good for anyone.

The area that you are wrong is, the people in Iran that want to murder the 'infidels' are Muslim, and in the Muslim religion, murdering 'infidels' (People that are not Muslim), is how they get their 72 virgins and paradise...

They hijacked a plane and killed themselves to murder all the 'infidels' in the World Trade Centers in 2001, I don't think they care about equal power.

Also, the U.S. government is too full of environmentalist, money-hungry dirt-bags that would do their best the shoot down any act of using nuclear warheads against them, they think that, instead, we should 'strategically' take out only the exact locations of where the enemy is, the problem is, it doesn't do as much devastation as it would with a large strike (Take Japan in WWII for instance).

AND if Obama gets in as president, he will most likely change to being a Muslim again, here is a little known fact: Once you deny the muslim religion (as he did), your considered an 'infidel' again, but, he could very easily get back in if he wanted to.


Yes, this world is becoming a very crazy place.

Its a very dangerous situation. I am more worried about this than I was with North Korea, although I was worried about them at the time as well. If Israel decides to pursue a unilateral strike against Iran, hell NO I will not support it, and neither should we. We should make that very clear to them. I still think it's a very idiotic idea to NOT talk with Iran's leaders to try to bang out some diplomacy. They are like a whiny child with a shiny toy. They want attention, they're getting it, and we have no idea if any of it is real: all their media is state-run. I am not worried about the situation as long as cooler heads prevail. What DOES concern me is the war-mongering administration currently in power in the White House. However, if we are attacked or provoked, or our allies are, sure, we should respond. But let's not make this another Iraq. I already have two friends there, I don't need any more. And if we decide to spread ourselves that thin in the region, it's very bad news.

And the LAST answer is MAD (mutually assured destruction), ie, another cold war. I'm ok with my country not being the super power, I don't care. I just don't think the best way to maintain peace is by constant threat of death (nor by phone wiretapping of innocent citizens to touch on another topic...)

let me tell you one thing, those are the extremist, those who misunderstood Islam, just like you. those people doesn't represent true Islam. (care looking at Islam history? they split from true Islam if I'm not wrong) it's the American media that declared those who did that was muslim, which is not.

I don't think the American people in general care too much about war, just that the long-standing conflict between muslim and jewish, the Israel very close relation with American makes America a threat to the whole Asian continent, where many muslim presided there.

It's sabre rattling. People have been doing it forever. The problem recently is that we have people in office that are duped by it. Just what we need: a third theatre of conflict. You think the economy is bad now (I don't, but many people seem to)? Try adding another war to the budget. I can see it happening too, if we have someone in office who is easily provoked by this kind of ruse. Probably exactly what they want because they know our economy and already-despicable world esteem would suffer. Iran's leader is like a small child. He craves attention. And when no one is looking at him he says/does something outrageous, so he can get his name in the news again. Send some low-level emissary...no, better yet, get the mail room clerk from one of the federal buildings and send him/her over to "talk." I know the cost of the flight and the base pay of a mail room clerk (probably an intern) is more than what Iran's leader warrants, but maybe this will make him feel important again.
