Downloading Apache, To start learning php

Hello everyone, so I am trying to download and install apache in order to start learning php, problem is that when I go to apache.org and I press download, and go to a selected mirror, I get all this links and I just don't know which one to install.
What is the easiest way o install Apache??? something basic in order to start learning php.
any help is appreciated

Well you download the HTTP one but its best if you get XAMPP its got all the stuff you need! And its all built in so no messing around with .ini files.

Which OS are you running? How old is the hardware?

XAMPP is the best choise. (www.apachefriend(or friends).org don't remember)

XAMPP is quite good for learning because it includes a lot of really useful features but WAMP is good also or you could download apache if you want to learn how the server works and how to configure it.

XAMPP is really good for beginners though smile.gif
