It talks about types of barcoding, barcoding fonts, capturing from the barcode gun etc. It is for multiple languages including visual basic so look through some of the code and hopefully you get the idea. Now this is just a set of solutions for you and it is offered by a company, but you can get more information from the manufacturer of your barcode scanner and they usually offer example code to show you how it works.
