I have googled and regoogled and could no find a specific answer or code to work from.

I have two tables in the same database.
The first table is named TextInserter.
The second table is named Clarke

There are two common fields between the two tables. The names of the common fields are VerseRef and VerseText.

In the second table named Clarke, the VerseText field is empty or has no values.
In the table named TextInserter, the VerseText field has data.
The common field, VerseRef, has values in both tables.

Using phpMyAdmin, I want to copy the field values from Inserter.VerseText over to Clarke.VerseText where there is a common value in the VerseRef field.

Thank you for your time and replies.

Mods, if you would be so inclined, could you delete this thread. Displaying the data I need desplayed likely requires using two tables to display the data rather than just one table.
