Hi there,

Could anyone tell me why I'm having this error:"java.rmi.ConnectException: Connection refused to host: 192.168.0.2".

I downloaded and compiled PowerService (server & Client), when I want to start the server it giving the error mentioned before.

Well as you may know the 192.168 address means it is on your internal network. So make sure you have a computer with that IP address. Second, make sure that you have started the rmiregistry or naming server. One of these two situations can cause your error because it simply cannot connect. Also make sure that your target computer doesn't have any security software (ie firewalls) that may also prevent the connection.

Hope this helps. smile.gif
