Hibernate and Times/Dates

D.I.C Head Joined: 16 Nov, 2007 Posts: 112 Thanked: 1 times My Contributions	Anyone know a good tutorial on managing dates and times with hibernate? I really need to learn how they are handled in general, but here is my current problem... I'm trying to pull all records which have a time within a specified range. When I say time, I mean literally just the time (hour, minute, second). I'd also like to use criteria, and stay database independent. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks

Thanks Perhaps you should check out the following section of the documentation: http://www.hibernate.org/hib_docs/v3/refer...hql-expressions It has functions such as minute(), hour() that you can use in WHERE expressions in HQL
